Sunday on the way to church we were talking about how warm it was getting. I excitedly mentioned to Sunshine that after church we'd get out his Light Jacket and he could wear it to school this week.
He wasn't much impressed. In fact, he was unusually quiet. The rest of us moved on to a new conversation.
After a few minutes he suddenly asked, "Mom, we swimmin' at recess?"
Huh? Thinking he was thinking about playground puddles, I asked what he meant.
"We goin' swimmin' at recess on playground? You get out my LIFE jacket after church."
